From 2003 through November 2007 Steve served in various executive capacities at Kitty Hawk, Inc., a nationwide heavy-freight logistics company, including Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. As COO, Steve was responsible for air and ground network operations, sales, marketing, hub operations and stations for the nationwide expedited freight network.
In his first six months as COO, Steve was instrumental in reducing network costs by over $1 million per month, increasing average yield by 15% and securing an additional $30 million in additional revenue. As General Counsel, Steve oversaw listing the Company on the American Stock Exchange, negotiating numerous debt and equity financings, acquiring a nationwide trucking company and oversaw the introduction of Boeing 737 aircraft into the fleet (including negotiation of operating leases and maintenance agreements and securing FAA approvals).
From 1999 to 2002, Steve was a senior executive at Hawaiian Airlines. He served as VP Acquisitions, B717 project manager, B767 project manager and ETOPS (extended-range twin engine operations) program manager, with both financial and operating responsibilities. At Hawaiian, Steve oversaw the complete refleeting of the airline, supervising the financing and operational introduction of 13 Boeing 717 (market value $450 million) and 16 Boeing 767 ($1.5 billion) aircraft. He negotiated agreements for maintenance support, interest rate hedging and primary financing support for the aircraft. He negotiated the return of the airlines older DC-10-30 and DC-9-50 aircraft types.
Steve managed the airlines ETOPS program, along with other flight operations, maintenance planning, engineering and ground requirements for the new fleet. Hawaiian was the first airline permitted by the FAA to start transoceanic operations with the highest level (180 minutes) of ETOPS authority.
Prior to Hawaiian, from 1998 to 1999, Steve served as General Counsel of Mesa Airlines, where he worked closely with Bombardier and other CRJ partners in the acquisition and operation of the airlines regional jet fleet. Mesa and its three subsidiaries operated a fleet of 150 regional jets under contract with major airlines. Steve managed the acquisition of a US Airways Express carrier and was responsible for all FAA and regulatory matters.
Earlier in his career, Steve served as General Counsel of Kiwi International Airlines and ValuJet Airlines, where his responsibilities included collective bargaining, FAA regulatory matters, aircraft and engine lease contracts and government affairs. He has worked as a consultant to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Steve holds an FAA Airline Transport Pilot rating and is type rated on the Boeing 737. He flew for a Northwest Airlines regional airline as a line pilot based in Boston. He is a Certified Flight Instructor.
Steve holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany. He attended the American College in Paris and is fluent in French. He is admitted to the New Jersey bar.
Josh Marks

Between 2003 and 2008, Josh served as an executive of Washington, DC based MAXjet Airways, the award-winning international airline that pioneered the all Business Class sector. Josh was Executive Vice President (2007-2008) overseeing improvements in operational reliability (from 92% to 99% in 2007), flight occupancy (to 70% load factor in 2007) and revenue (over $100 million annual run rate). In addition to flight operations and commercial activities, he was accountable for technology and people services and was a member of the IPO road show team.
Prior to serving as Executive Vice President, Josh was Chief Financial Officer (2006-2007) managing a $70 million restructuring of the companys senior secured and unsecured debt, a follow-on equity financing, and the acquisition of additional aircraft. He also served as Senior Vice President, Planning (2003-2006) with responsibility for pricing, planning, distribution, business development, cargo, charters and investor relations. Josh co-founded MAXjet in 2003 and was responsible for FAA Part 121 certification efforts in 2004-2005.
Prior to MAXjet, Josh served as Associate Director of the George Washington University Aviation Institute (2002-2003). His responsibilities included developing new academic and research programs related to airline flight operations, distribution and pricing, labor relations, and airspace management. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of VelociGen (1999-2002) a technology company focused on Web Services that was acquired by Blue Titan Software, and President and Chief Operating Officer of Virtualis Systems (1998-1999), a web hosting company acquired by Allegiance Telecom.
Josh is a licensed land and seaplane pilot. He holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a BA magna cum laude from Harvard College where he was elected phi beta kappa. He has served as a director of Fonality, a venture capital backed technology company, Worldreach, a donor-advised fund, and Silicon Planet, a non-profit software company (where he also served as Interim CEO).
Eric Stocker

From 1990 to 2008, Eric held various roles in aircraft maintenance and management at Comair, Inc., a Delta Connection Regional Carrier operating CRJ aircraft. Most recently he served as the Manager of Maintenance Programs and Technical Publications. In this role, he was responsible for the creation of an internal Maintenance Programs team that managed Comairs customized maintenance program and authored and revised over 1,600 task cards. In addition, he created a Configuration Control group and implemented a solution that converted Comairs technical library from hard-copy books to electronic files, significantly improving the efficiency of the distribution process and increasing productivity and compliance.
Prior to this, Eric led the implementation and was responsible for the continued management of Comairs Trax maintenance computer system, allowing for the centralization of all maintenance processes. As a part of the implementation, he was responsible for the data migration, process development and documentation, system set-up, testing, training and final roll-out. On-going management of the application included administration of security profiles to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, application modifications and other administrative tasks. During this time, Eric worked closely with Trax on system enhancements and was frequently asked to present within their user community.
Eric began his career as an AP mechanic, performing both hangar and line maintenance on multiple regional aircraft including Embraer EMB-120, Saab SF-340, and Canadair CRJ100/200/700/900 series aircraft. Building on his maintenance experience, Eric held the position of Maintenance Controller where he supported Comairs fleet during the operational day, minimizing delays and cancellations to ensure the airline met on-time and completion goals. From there he served in various other roles including Maintenance Financial Analyst and Reliability Engineer.
While at Comair, Eric served as a representative on numerous industry working groups hosted by Bombardier and Messier-Dowty. He was actively involved in ATAs e-business program and was Comairs voting member. In addition, Eric presented at industry conferences, including the MRO Conference series.
Eric holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license. Trained in the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, he subsequently earned a BS in Aviation Management from The Union Institute and University.

Gerry Gitner brings 40 years’ experience in commercial aviation and aerospace to eJet.
Gerry is currently the Chairman of D.G. Associates, Inc., a strategic planning and consulting practice. Gerry has extensive aerospace industry experience having been co-founder and President of People Express Airlines. He also served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Trans World Airlines, Inc.
Gerry also served in numerous executive positions in major airlines. At Texas Air Corporation he served as President, and at Pan American World Airways he served as Vice Chairman & Chief Financial Officer and as Chairman of Pan Am World Services. Gerry co-founded a commercial aircraft leasing company, Global Aircraft Leasing, Ltd. where he served as Co-Chairman and also served as Chairman of Avalon Group Ltd., a New York-based investment bank and NASD broker/dealer that he co-founded.
Gerry has served as a director on numerous private and public company boards including Tricom S.A., Factory Card Outlet of America, Inc., Kitty Hawk, Inc. and CIFG Holding Ltd. He is a past member of the Boards of Boston University, the Rochester Institute of Technology and the American College of Management and Technology. He was a member of the Chancellors Council of the University of Missouri at St. Louis. He also serves as a member of the council of Advisors of the Boston University Economics Department and as a member of the College of Arts and Sciences’ Leadership advisory Board.
